A man arrested in Rhode Island for crashing two cruisers

PROVIDENCE, RI. (WWLP ) – A Johnston man has been charged with DUI after allegedly hitting 2 state police cruisers at the weekend.

According to the Rhode Island State Police at 1:14 a.m. three cruisers had stopped in the left lane on Route 6 West, in Providence, waiting for DOT trucks that would assist in cleaning up road debris after an earlier accident.

Joseph Giudici (40), of Johnston Giudici sidewiped a cruiser, and rear-ended another. Two troopers received minor injuries, and were released from the hospital.
